## The actual email
Yesterday, I got a really nice email from someone else in the web. It made me feel weird because on our planet, you only receive email for your 2FA code, or for that one game in your steam wishlist which is now in sale.
Knowing that someone took the time to read what I wrote, and to ask me questions about it in an email makes the whole _**installing nginx to then spend few days [configuring hugo](https://github.com/aledenshi/hugo)**_ worth it.
This email made me happy. Thank you.
## Blogs are cool
I really like to read blog posts from other people on the web. When you read about someone else's thoughts, you really listen to what **they** have to say, you can't really stop them to then start to talk about yourself like in a conversation. (+ blog is a great resource to learn things)
When you read a blog, you are free to leave and return. You are not forced to hear about some stuff that you are not interested in. You are not stuck in a conversation that you don't like. **You** (lovely-little-thing browsing the web) make the call.
Of course don't write blogs about something that is illegal or to hurt someone else's feeling. Be kind to the people around, especially to people that you don't know.

## Thoughts on email
### Don't let 'mailto:' scare you
I never leave comments on youtube videos, I never send emails to people that write blogs neither. But this email changed my mind. Why not after all ?

### XMPP
I don't like emails because you can't really know if someone did receive your mail. I will try to setup an XMPP server. You can contact me there if you don't like emails too.
But it will take some time to setup, because.
